This Photo of a Dwarf Galaxy Ramming Into a Larger Galaxy is Hypnotic

Sometimes space does some extremely impressive and beautiful things. And this photo recently featured on Harvard University’s website shows off something truly wonderful. Granted though, it is a composite of X-Rays and optical light to show off the collision of two different galaxies. According to them, the collision caused a heat wave that set off 6 million degree temperatures.

Now if only J.J Abrams could mimic this kind of beauty in his Star Trek movies…
