The Hyetis Crossbow is a Watch With a 41MP Camera; Designed for James Bond

There are some crazy cool cameras out there, but not many of them have a real analog watch built in. Well, actually, in this case it’s the other way around. Yes, you read that right, someone decided to put a camera in a watch. Not only is it a camera, but it is a 41MP camera. It’s called the Hyetis Crossbow, but instead of firing bolts that require loads of strength to reload after each shot you’ll be shooting digital images.

The watch also will boast Carl Zeiss optics. According to Imaging Resource, it will host a, “high-resolution color display, WiFi, Bluetooth, altimeter, light meter, microphone, thermometer, barometer, and biometric sensor. It even has a ring of LEDs around the lens for illumination. On the official website, the company is also claiming NFC, GPS, and an optical zoom. The über watch is set to go on sale later this year for $1,200.”

Does all this sound familiar? It’s almost like they took the Nokia Lumia 1020 and put it in the watch. However, the unit’s cutaway tells us that it is significantly too large to put into here.

Using something like this may be ergonomically tough anyway. Only James Bond might approve.
