Farrah Skeiky Photographs Big Differences in the Modern Punk Scene

“Listen, it’s not ‘thirty, flirty, and thriving,'” explains photographer Farrah Skeiky to us in an interview. “It’s ‘thirty, flirty, and if the shoe doesn’t have the word Air or Jordan in the name, I’ve put in gel insoles,’…I stretch, I drink at least a gallon of water every day, and I take my vitamins.” Farrah embodies lots of the ideals of the modern punk and hardcore scene in her photography. She’s done lots of diversity, LGBTQ+, and cause-centered work over her career. And like lots of other photographers, she couldn’t wait to get back to shooting when the pandemic died down a bit.

The Internet Reacts to Ben Affleck Being Cast as Batman Via Image Memes


One of the worst things that you could possibly do is infuriate DC Comics fans–especially Batman fans! But upon waking up this morning, your Facebook Feed or News Feed might have been flooded with anger as it was announced last night that Ben Affleck would play Batman in the upcoming Superman movie. Affleck, who played Marvel Comics hero Daredevil, was then subjected to lots of backlash via Comic Geeks. Posts on Reddit have lead to the creation of various image memes stating their disgust over their decision, but some of the images are actually quite funny. In recent memory, we’re not sure if any decision in a movie has caused the reaction of this many memes around the web.

Review: Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 (Canon EF)

Sigma’s latest 18-35mm f1.8 lens is the first zoom lens to their Art Collection: which is comprised of lenses typically associated with a very fast aperture. But when Sigma announced their brand new 18-35mm f1.8 DC HSM lens for APS-C sensor DSLR cameras, we were shocked. Previously, we had only seen f2 zooms being the fastest, but now there is a f1.8 zoom. Though the lens paid us a short visit (we only had it for five days) we fell in love with it.

And more importantly, we fell in love with its image quality.
