The late 90s and early 00s were responsible for some of the most unique-looking digital images. Much of that was greatly due not just to smaller sensor sizes, but also to the technology behind them. Given how far we’ve come in the last 25 years with sensor technology, most digital camera images these days, even compact ones, seem too clinical.
