Boulder, CO based Alpine Labs has announced the release of their all new Pulse wireless camera remote. After being backed successfully through Kickstarter, the company has completed it’s fulfillment of initial units to over 12,000 backers. Now the unit is available in retail outlets and available for immediate shipping today.

About the size of a credit card and offering a claimed battery life of 24 hours, Pulse connects to your camera via the hotshoe mount or USB port. The unit allows users to remotely control their camera from the convenience of their mobile device using Bluetooth connectivity and a free app for iOS and Android devices. Through the app, users will have access to full manual settings, time-lapse, long exposure settings, video functions and more all in a range up to 100 ft. Lastly, up to three Pulse-equipped cameras can be controlled at once all from the same phone or tablet.
