Adobe announced this morning a new partnership with EyeEm, the global photography community, and marketplace, which will bring a selection of EyeEm images into Adobe Stock’s Premium Collection for licensing. The move will make those selected EyeEm images available for purchase directly through Photoshop and Adobe Stock.
“The EyeEm Collection, which features images of everyday moments captured in new ways by a broad community of artists, will provide Adobe Stock customers with authentic high-quality commercial content.” Adobe said of the partnership in their official release. This will be a huge addition to the Adobe Stock catalogue.
For those who don’t remember, Adobe Stock is Adobe’s premium stock library which is built right into all of the Creative Cloud apps, which allows for users to search, find, test, and purchase stock licenses on images without ever having to leave the software they are in. A huge time saver and convenience for Creative Cloud customers.
The availability of this new collection in Creative Cloud is not so much new for photographers since we almost always use our own images in projects. But for those of you who are EyeEm users, this could be a new income stream for you, and that is pretty neat. More information about the partnership can be found on Adobe Stocks or EyeEm.
