Hey everyone, if you shoot documentary photography projects then you’ve got a chance to currently be featured on the Phoblographer or La Noir Image. Details on how to specifically do this are below.
For La Noir Image: check out the process here. Make sure to choose only your best photos.
PLEASE CAREFULLY FOLLOW THE PITCH DETAILS. OTHERWISE EMAILS ARE RARELY CONSIDERED.
– Shoot an email at editors[at]thephoblographer[dot]com. You’ll also probably notice the little call to feature you on the sidebar.
– Describe yourself as a photographer. Explain the who, what, when, where, how and why.
– Show websites and attach 15 images at 2000 pixels on the long side for consideration.
– Explain why the readers want to see your work., or why your project is really cool.
I’ll go over it and get back to you. Make the subject line: Portrait submission: (your name here)
If you have really amazing black and white images: check out the submission process for La Noir Image.
Also kindly consider the site’s Creating the Photograph section if you’ve got one photo that uses flash/strobe lighting very well.
