No, really–I’m not even joking, that’s the press release. Well, the fact that Nikon is developing the new full frame 35mm sensor Nikon D5 DSLR and that they’re developing a new Nikon SB-5000 speedlight along with a new Nikon WT-6 wireless transmitter.
So what other details are there? Nothing, the press release is an entire page and more than half of the page is an About Nikon statement.
We’re bound to see the new Nikon D5 at Photokina next year along with the new flash. If Nikon is smart here, there will be radio transmission. But what would be even cooler is if the Nikon D5 had a radio flash transmitter built in that can trigger their own flashes. It’s surely possible.
