Last night at the official unveiling party for the Olympus OMD EM1, the company showed off a prototype of their newly announced 40-150mm f2.8 professional telephoto lens. However, it was behind glass and we couldn’t get to hold it at all. From what we see though, it looks to have pretty much the same design inspiration that the 12-40mm f2.8 has. And for that, you can check out our first impressions of said lens.
But beyond that, 43Rumors also found a new lens roadmap for Olympus. It shows off the lens shown above, a pro-wide angle zoom, and a long telephoto prime lens. You can check it out after the jump.
