The other day, Panasonic announced that their old 20mm f1.7 was being discontinued. But the new just broke on their website that, they’re announcing their brand new refresh of the lens in its 2nd version. The new lens boasts a metal construction (resin comprised the older version) and there is no weather sealing. It will come in both a silver and black version to match your camera accordingly.
The new lens also sports seven elements in five groups, supports contrast AF, has seven aperture blades, and features multi-coated lens elements.
Tech Specs and extra photos are after the jump. At the moment, we don’t have any word on pricing or availability.
