Sometimes Japan just gets cooler photography products and today is one of those days. On Akihabara News it was announced that Leica is releasing a limited edition camera, the ‘Leica X2 Yokohama Edition. This is to commemorate the opening of the Leica SOGO Yokohama store. Only thirty Cameras will be made making it ultra rare. Based on the Leica X2 this camera has a lizard style leather skin on the body. A shoulder strap along with a camera protector made of the same Lizard Style skin.
We reviewed the Leica X2 and thought it was a wonderful camera. Although the release will be in July, they are currently accepting advance orders at the SOGO Yokohama store.
