We played with the EOS M a while back and were fairly impressed by it despite the fact that our initial thoughts were that other mirrorless cameras beat it out of the water. But apparently the camera is coming out in a limited edition color. It comes from the mind of Japanese art director, Chie Morimoto–and the new color is being called, “Bay Blue.” The blue color is supposed to be more consumer friendly and the brown accents are supposed to mimic the look of leather. At the moment, it isn’t clear whether it will hit the bays of the states or be a Japan exclusive.
An A La Carte program, Canon? This isn’t the first time that a manufacturer came out with special colors. Pentax can respectfully be called the acid trip of the industry with their Q assortment.
