I’m an extremely big fan of ring flashes, and I recommend them to anyone getting into lighting. And today, Adorama is introducing their Flashpoint 14″ Dimmable Ring Light. Going for $99, it has an 80 watt circular bulb and is balanced to 5600 Kelvin. Want to use this in a studio? That’s fine because it uses an AC cord, which means that you may need something like a Vagabond Mini or a Profoto Batpac to keep it powered.
