According to NoFilmSchool.com a special project called for “a whole truckload of Scarlets” and Jarred over reduser.net is going to give a lot of lucky people a break by selling these all for well under their retail cost. They are offering the Scarlet-X with Side SSD and a lens mount for $7,100 instead of the regular price of $11,800. For $4,800 off you probably think that these cameras are worn and well used especially for being sold under the name “battle-tested”. Jarred says that each of these were used for a special 3 second shot and none of them were used to record over a minute of footage.
