Some cameras have a much better shelf life even after they are introduced. This is very true for some iconic models introduced over a decade ago, such as the Contax G2 or G7X series. Of the various cameras revealed in recent years, Fujifilm cameras are perhaps the best. And the camera that we are talking about is now just a few years old.
The camera in question is the Fujifilm XF10, first introduced in 2019, and was priced at just $500. However, last year, the same model was sold for twice its price, at $1,000, per WatchCount.

The Fujifilm XF10 was known for its body, and its ability to shoot anything. The camera houses a 24MP APS-C sensor, a 28mm equivalent f2.8 lens. The camera is inspired by the X100 series, but was a bit more affordable than the other. Some other features include ISO up to 51,200, a 1.04-m-dot LCD, and 11 modes of shooting.
In our review, we found the point and shoot to have impeccable controls, and is quite comfortable to use. There is also a leatherette grip to make things better. As we said:
In the hands of most photographers, the Fujifilm XF10 will be very compact and comfortable. But if you have larger paws, then it will probably feel like a toy. In the hands of a street photographer, you’ll probably really be pretty comfortable with the Fujifilm XF10 due to the wrist strap and the way that it will fit into your hand.
Although there is no weather sealing, it is good, packable and quite easy to use. As for the autofocus, it is slow, but still useable. Travel photographers will adore it, and street photographers will have to wait. The image quality is exceptional, and the film simulation makes things much better. We found the high ISO of 6400 as clean as the results of the Nikon Z7. That says a lot. The images have plenty of details in highlights and shadows, and can also retain a lot of colors.

The XF10 is stylish, and given the demand for compact models, one can imagine why the prices increase. On eBay, the current price of the camera is anywhere between $700 and $1200. Either way, this shows that the price has increased by 50% to $140% each. That’s a lot for a camera that is not too old.
Overall, the camera, which was said to have a slow autofocus, only managed to find its audience eight years later. In some ways, the camera now sits alongside the likes of the Olympus XA, the Minolta TC-1, the Contax T2. If you are thinking of buying a old, stylish model, then this one is worth it.
