Accessory manufacturer Satechi has introduced a new remote timer that enables Canon DSLR user of taking timelapse pictures. The timer, which remote controls the camera from up to 50 ft distance, can not only remotely trigger the shutter, but be programmed as a self-timer, interval timer, long-exposure timer or intervalometer. It features visible and audible indications of the shutter state (i.e. countdown/on-hold/activation) and has an illuminated LCD display that makes it easy to use in dark environments.
The WTR-A is compatible with most current Canon DSLRs as well as some older film models and comes at a price of US-$ 59.99. It can be purchased via Satechis own online shop or via Amazon.
