One thing a photographer really relies on, other than gear, is a good camera bag. While there are ample options, not all of them meet your needs and comfort. There are also chances that the ones that can sustain will also cost you a lot. That’s why we have created multiple lists of the best camera bags that will suit a specific genre of photographers. And now, with K&F Concept launching a new camera bag in their Urban Wander series, we wonder whether it is good enough to be on our list. Let’s have a look at what it offers.
A Customizable Camera Bag
K&F Concept is a Chinese company that offers a wide range of photographic accessories, including lens filters, tripods, camera bags, and lens adapters. The recently launched U10 is a sling bag (or a messenger bag, if you will) designed for outdoor photographers who want conformity, efficiency, storage, and protection.
According to the company, the U10 camera bag is “tailored to real-world shooting scenarios” and measures up to 13.4 x 6.7 x 11 inches (34 x 17 x 28 cm). It has a 10L capacity, and the interior has layers and compartments that will allow users to use camera gear, as well as fit a tablet or a laptop and smaller accessories. This means the bag is big enough for a mirrorless camera and a standard zoom lens. However, since no other pictures were provided to us, we aren’t sure how many things you can fit. There are also adjustable dividers in the camera bag, which allow you to customize it to fit certain equipment.
Don’t be fooled by its size; the U10 is designed in such a way that you can also carry a tripod. The camera bag’s strap at the base accommodates the tripod. However, the company also provides two side pockets for carrying essential things like an umbrella and a water bottle. Since access is important, the camera bag also features a top flap to open the bag, and the Duraflex buckles help secure it shut.
For comfort in carrying, the U10 features padded and breathable shoulder straps. There is also a top handle to carry the camera bag in your hand when needed. The exterior is designed using polyester fabric and a coating for tear resistance, waterproofing, and cleaning.
What do we Think
This seems to be a better-upgraded version of its existing sling camera bags, which cost about $40. Similarly, the new U10 will be priced around the same but will feature a flap opening to make things easier. As the press release said, it features straps, which we assume will be two of them, which makes it a good option for outdoor shoots.
Although we have never tested K&F Concept’s bags on paper, this sounds like a good deal. The clean and stylish design makes it a perfect choice for students and serious enthusiasts on a budget. However, if you are a serious photographer who needs something studied, then you can have a look at our website, which features a variety of the best camera bags.
As bags become increasingly common, we often see very few that stand out from the rest. We hope K&F Concept changes this and works on accessories that benefit students and professionals on a budget. Only time can tell how far they reach.
