After announcing a way for photographers to make money, build community, and get hired by brands for licensing deals, VSCO still isn’t done in 2024. Mind you, they’ve done all this while using AI ethically. Recently, they announced their new #WeTheCreators presets. For this, they teamed up with specific photographers in their community to make presets with character, romance, intrigue, and serene beauty. At least, that’s what we think of them when we look at the work.
The new presets were made for photographers by photographers. And here’s what you need to know about them:
- WE1 / WE1 PRO – Created in collaboration with Daniel Casson, a landscape photographer based in England
- WE2 / WE2 PRO – Created in collaboration with John Baloy, a portrait photographer based in South Africa
- WE3 / WE3 PRO – Created in collaboration with Sandra Linnell, a nature photographer based in Sweden
- WE4 / WE4 PRO – Created in collaboration with Jason Hunter, a street photographer based in the United States
- WE5 / WE5 PRO – Created in collaboration with Adaeze Okaro, a portrait photographer based in Nigeria
- WE6 / WE6 PRO – Created in collaboration with Arjun Yadav, a travel and street photographer based in Canada

To access these presets, you need to become a VSCO Pro or Plus Member. That costs around $60/year and is both insanely affordable and worth it for all the community-building and gainful hiring possibilities. They’re different from VSCO for the Web.
You can download the VSCO app, sign up, and try these with your images. More can be found on VSCO Journal.
