If you know of any children, and want to introduce them to photography, then there are a few things you can do. For starters, gift them a camera, one that can help them to document the world around them with ease. While cameras are expensive, there are some old models that work well even today for young beginners. Have a look.
Olympus EM5

The Olympus EM5 is a wonderful camera featuring a 16.1MP Micro Four Thirds sensor, a 9.2 fps high-speed sequential shooting, and 5-axis image stabilization. The autofocus is extremely quick, and with the touchscreen you get better results. It also works better with older lenses, and it works well when tracking focus, continuous focus and single AF. As for the images, you get results like Kodak Portra and Fuji Pro400 film. This means the younger generation will get the look of film on digital. The color reproduction is wonderful, and the weather sealing is worth it. As we added, “For street photographers that love to shoot in the rain or documentary photographers that need to have gear that is weather resistant, this may be the camera for you to get.”
Nikon D700

The D700 is a wonderful full frame camera that has the same size as the D300 and a 12MP sensor. It has all the features of the D3 and ISO up to 12,800. The autofocus of the camera is fantastic, and can track people really well, and it can counter any challenge during the daylight. As we added, “In situations like that, I’d simply take my finger off the shutter release so that the pre-selected point would go back to the original spot, re-compose and then focus.” The D700 is also pretty great when one talks about the RAW files, which allows one to recover the details with ease. The high ISO results are also clean up to ISO 6400. Overall, the D700 can do anything, which means the child can work with any genre.
Canon 6D

The Canon 6D is another wonderful offering: a 20MP full frame sensor, has multiple buttons and dials, and has a solid body. The focus has 11 points, which means you can choose the focus point and shoot. “I was happy to find that the 6D was able to focus just as quickly and accurately as my 5D MKII bodies,” we added in our review. In low light, the camera works best with center point. As for the image quality, the results are exceptional. The results are quite good when it comes to high ISO results, and the RAW files are quite versatile, and the colors are lovely as well. It is a worthy camera in every sense of the word.
