Artralab had recently announced a conversion lens, which made Fujifilm X100 series cameras shoot a much wider perspective. This has been a cost-effective means for many beginners. Similarly, to help professionals using Nikon cameras, the company has launched a new limited-edition lens, which is said to offer great bokeh for many users. What is it and what it can do, let’s have a look.
First reported by Nikon Rumors, Artralab has launched Noxika 28mm f2.8, a lens designed for full-frame users. It is sleek, comes in silver and black colors, making it an ideal option for anyone shooting with the Nikon Zf. In fact, the setup is so compact and small, making it ideal for a variety of shoots. Here is a look at the specification:

Artralab Noxika 28mm f2.8 is ideal for architecture, street, and landscape photography. The lens is also said to manufacture 200 units, making it a limited edition. The lens is priced under $500, making it ideal for anyone who wants a second lens for their arsenal. Nikon already has Z 28mm f2.8, which costs less than the Artralab. However, as we said in our review, the autofocus was a challenge. “What the Nikon Z 28mm f2.8 lacks in autofocus performance, it makes up for with colors. Along with the Nikon 40mm f2 that shares a similar build, this lens has some seriously gorgeous color,” our review said.
After having tested other lenses from Artralab, we are quite glad with their performance. The 35mm f1.4 1980s is one example, which offers great images, compact size, and good ergonomics. Whether the Noxika 28mm can deliver great images remains to be seen. However, after having seen some decent product from the company, our hope this is true.
It boils down to what professionals want; if they need a very cost-effective lens, then Nikon’s version lens. However, if they want something different, the Artralab version could be better.
