The Fujifilm X100V is a fantastic street shooter, and these photographers prove it.
The X100 series has long been a popular choice amongst the street photography community. The sleek design, fixed lens, and rangefinder-style are perfect ingredients for a reliable, well-performing camera for street photography. But, of course, a good camera is only part of the battle: it has to find the right hands to really fulfill its potential. Thankfully, there are some super dope street photographers that have been able to do the X100V the justice it deserves.

1. Clay Benskin
Clay Benskin will be the first to tell you that he’s had more Instagram accounts than hot dinners. That’s because he keeps turning his back on the platform. But he’s back (for now at least), and the street photography community can once again enjoy his candid street photography in New York City. Benskin loves to shoot from the hip and finds the X100 line is perfect for his shooting style. The Fujifilm X100V has allowed him to continue his instinctive shooting style, which helps him create his fascinating, candid frames.
2. Rinzi Ruiz
Rinzi Ruiz is an official Fujifilm X-Photographer. His black and white street photography that uses contrasting light as a core ingredient is revered by many in the community. Having the option to test many of Fujfilm’s new systems gives Ruiz the best opportunity to decide which camera is best for his workflow. He’s been using the X100V for some time now, and it’s clear that it’s a favorite for the scenes many popular street photographers.
3. Thomas Thrane Jepson
Thomas has a beautifully curated feed. It’s not only limited to street photography either, as it also has portraits and still life thrown in to keep things fresh: we like the balance. Most of the work is created in Denmark, which is one of the top destinations for any current and aspiring street photographer. Minimalism is a clear lead character in this photographer’s story, and he’s doing it to the best standard possible.
4. Vianditya Dewanata
The biggest thing we took away from Vianditya Dewanata’s feed was consistency. His creative style has stayed true throughout all his images, and the result is a very compelling feed that grips the viewer’s attention. That’s not to say his images don’t work when standing alone. But when you begin to see the pattern and relationship between light, shape, and shadows, you fully appreciate the artistic look that Dewanata has set out to achieve.
5. Thomas Geiregger
Shooting out of Salzburg, Austria, Geiregger has a feed filled with print worthy images. He opts for a classic, timeless aesthetic that attracts followers even from outside the street photography community. He makes excellent use of the Fujfilm X100V’s 23mm lens, providing a wider view of the scenes he likes to snap. We should also point out that Geiregger uses the framing technique wisely and effectively, as many of his images are composed to draw you into the main subject.
