If you’re an imaging expert or industry professional who dabbles in highly specialized photography such as thermal imaging, the new ANAFI Thermal could just be the drone solution for your work. With this new offering, European drone group Parrot boasts of an improved ANAFI platform to provide a lightweight and easy to use drone, sensor, and software package for professional thermal imaging.
The ANAFI Thermal features a built-in 4K HDR camera and a FLIR® thermal sensor that allow users to view live thermal and RGB images. It’s especially designed for a wide range of industries that require imaging of surfaces, structures, or at-risk-areas using drones. Meanwhile, the 4K HDR camera is equipped with a 21 Megapixel Sony sensor to provide precise photo and video footage.
The FreeFlight 6 app also allows the drone pilot to directly combine images of the visible and invisible, while the Pix4DModel app can be used to create 3D models of buildings and structures monitored using the ANAFI Thermal. Compatibility with theFLIR® Tools software also allows for quick editing, image analysis, and creating inspection reports in PDF format.
