These new creative macro filters will extend the capabilities of your existing Lensbaby optics.
Itâs always nice to be able to use something you already have and to get something more out of it, right? Well, Lensbaby is taking a step outside of their usual path and, rather than releasing a new lens for us, they have this new filter kit that will give you some special capabilities with your existing Lensbaby optics.
The newly announced Lensbaby 46mm Macro Filter Kit is exactly what it sounds like – a kit of three 46mm filters that will allow your Lensbaby lens to shoot with macro capabilities. The kit comes with +1, +2 and +4 options and is compatible with all the Lensbaby optics that feature a 46mm filter thread. That list includes their Sweet 35, Sweet 50, Sweet 80, Edge 50, Edge 80, and Twist 60.
The filters screw onto the front of the lens just like any other filter, and the result is one that allows you to shoot closer (to what degree depends on which macro filter you are using) and take some really creative macro shots with the unique creative capabilities of the Lensbaby lens you attach the filters to.
