One simple method to add creativity in photography is play around with slow shutter speed to capture motion blur effect, which often can produce dramatic and dynamic results if executed effectively. Bryan Peterson took one step further by combining two different movements in his slow shutter speed technique, called “spin zooming.” Basically, he turned the camera around while simultaneously zoomed-in his lens to create spin and zoom effects as shown in the screen capture above. With the added spin zoom effect, the telephone appeared as if it was ringing.
