Revolog Sticks Around While Bigger Film Manufacturers Fall

It is a sad time for film shooters as big companies like Kodak and Fujifilm are slowly dwindling down on their film production, leaving all of us at The Phoblographer more than just a little disappointed. However, it seems like there is still hope. Revolog is a small e-shop that continues to sell film and successfully, by the looks of it. They just sold their 10,000th roll yesterday.

What makes Revolog different from the competition is that every roll of film sold is “distressed” by hand, which creates some exciting and awesome effects in the photos. They have a total of 10 different effects in their lineup that makes Instagram filters look boring. Each roll will run you around $9-11 on their website. Head on past the break for some sample images.
