Vanguard has just announced three new products that will be available soon. Two new bags in the Quovio series (The 41 and the 44) and a new Carbon-Fiber tripod (The ABEO Plus 323CT). The company is also offering up to a $100 dollar mail-in-rebate for their various products.
The Quovio 44 (pictured above) is a versatile backpack that can also double as a sling-style bag. It’s designed to house a Pro-Sized DSLR and 3-5 lenses, as well as a slot for your tablet of choice and straps to carry a tripod mounted to the bag. Read on for a description of the other two items.
The Quovio 41 is a shoulder bag designed to house either photo or video gear and is built for those of us always on the go. Large grab handles make this bag easy to leave packed and ready to go at a moments’ notice. It’s spacious enough to carry Prosumer-sized video equipment or a Pro-sized DSLR kit as well as a tripod strapped to the exterior. All of the exterior and interior pockets have been designed for quick and easy access. Clearly this bag was designed for active shooters.
The Quovio 26 is a shoulder bag but with an optional harness it can be worn as a backpack. The bag offers enough room for a DSLR with attached lens as well as a second lens. There is also a place for business cards, a zip up compartment on the inside for small accessories and a special compartment for a tablet! This bag also includes a rain cover similar to other companies.
This roller bag is the Quovio 49T and it is an airline carry-on compatible bag for your cameras and gear. There is a compartment for a laptop up to 14″ as well enough room on the inside for 1-2 Pro DSLRs with grip, 5-7 lenses (up to 400mm f/5.6), 2 flash units, and accessories (memory cards, cables, battery and charger). The inside is customizable as most are and also includes a rain cover.
Lastly we have the ABEO Plus 323CT, a lightweight carbon fiber tripod tipping the scales at only 5.4lbs. Maximum extension is a tall 70″ meaning this tripod should be plenty comfortable for taller shooters. It’s rated to hold 26.5lbs so it should be able to support pretty much anything you can mount on it. It is also equipped with Vanguard’s unique Quick Height Adjustment center column which allows you to reposition the column height quickly and with minimal effort. These legs are also delivered with angled rubber feet which can convert to adjust to almost any type of terrain or conditions.
