Kano, a DIY computing company in London, announced the Kickstarter Campaign for their DIY Camera Kit. The kit consists of several pieces that snap together like Lego, allowing users to build a 5-megapixel functional and versatile little camera. It’s being pitched as being great for all ages–to that end users can code photos, create their own filters, and even make critter cams and kaleidoscopes. No background knowledge needed.
It’s sort of like those DIY types of digital cameras you’ve wanted; sort of.
