Panasonic might be all set to announce a new 4K capable GH camera as soon as this Friday, but before that happens news specs on the Ultra HD camera have leaked out. 43 Rumors heard from trusted sources that the GH 4K would sport a 16-megapixel camera to deliver resolution-shattering video.
Apparently the entire camera has been molded around shooting 4K video with a ALL-I intra mode recording just for the new format. It’s purported that Panasonic designed the camera body specifically to dissipate the heat produced by the new sensor while skimping on things like sensor stabilization. Meanwhile, shooters will look through a 2,36 million dot OLED electronic viewfinder to keep up with the double 1080p resolution.
According to 43 Rumors, the Panasonic GH 4K announcement is all set for midnight on Friday February 7, we’ll have more news to report then so stay tuned.
