We already thought the Fujifilm X100s was a wonderful camera and a year after it was first announced at CES 2013. Now it has made a return appearance at CES 2014 clad in a sleek all black body. Other than the dark new design it’s still X100s we came to know and love with the 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor and EXR Processor II.
From the half-second start up to the 0.08sec autofocus action, to the 0.01sec shutter lag; the X100s is all about speed and getting photographer the quickest shot. The X100S Black will come in a kit with the 23mm F2 fixed lens just like last years model. Overall it’s the same great camera sans the silver-accented retro look, which could just be a way of pitching more sales, but we have to say it does look pretty good.
Fujifilm’s pricing on the black edition is the best part: the same $1,299 price as the X100s. It’ll be available for you to get your greasy paws on it in February.
