At this year’s IBC show in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Zeiss will present two new cinema lenses: the 15-30mm T2.9 CZ.2 Compact Zoom as well as the ARRI/Zeiss Master Anamorphic MA 100mm T1.9 cine lens. The 15-30/T2.9 will cover the full 36x24mm image circle and will deliver 4K UHD resolution. Weighing in at 2.5 kgs (5.7 lbs), the lens will be available for NAB in April of 2014, at a price “under €20,000” (US-$ 26,000). Pricing and availability of the MA 100/T1.9 have not been announced yet.
