The translation gods have spoke over at RiceHigh’s Pentax Blog, they have stated that Pentax Ricoh is working on making a full frame camera. The source of the information came from a recent interview where the Head of Product and Development spoke about the development. The camera will follow the path of the K-5IIs without the traditional AA filter, and they are working on moire and alias removing algorithms.
Pentax has been long rumored to have been working on a full frame camera and now there has been a little bit of light shed on the sensor class that has been skipped by Pentax in the past. If you speak Japanese you can read the Impress Magazine here.
