Wandrd has been around for a while, and its lineup includes models to meet various needs. Today, they have announced the expansion of their most popular lineup, PRVKE, with two new additions, Zip and Pocket.
The bags are built to the same rugged standards as the original PRVKE camera backpacks. These bags feature new designs, and both are available in 21L and 31L capacities.
The Pocke backpack features a clean, minimal exterior, while Zip offers a zippered design for quick access. The styles are available as bag only or photo bundles for creators who need flexibility.
In the past, we have tested their backpacks and have so far liked the quality and price point. For instance, with the Wandrd Lite, we like how it could hold so much gear. As we said in our review, “Despite the smaller profile, I still managed to fit a full-frame mirrorless with four lenses and a flash — and that’s not even including what I stashed in the roll top.”
Like the Lite, we also used the 31L version of PRVKE back in 2016, and its performance did surprise. As we said in our review then, “I took this bag out in the rain at one point. It shrugged off rain like it was nothing because of the design; that is weather sealed. You can surely feel it on the outside.”
Given the performance of the previous camera bags, we believe the two iterations will achieve the same. The 21L is suited for those working in the city or for shorter trips, while the 31L is helpful for those carrying multiple camera bodies or larger lenses. For instance, in our review, we were able to carry two Fujifilm X-T4 bodies, three lenses, two flashes, and two flash triggers. As for the prices, well, they are under $350.
