FileShadow’s updated coverage now includes file archiving and protection service for Adobe Creative Cloud files.
Ever felt lost searching through your DropBox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and other cloud storage accounts? You might benefit from the cloud account consolidation offered by FileShadow, especially if you have a lot of files on Adobe Creative Cloud as well. Apart from connecting accounts from these popular cloud storage sites into a single repository, the service has also recently included support for Adobe Creative Cloud.
This service could be particularly handy for photographers who use different cloud storage services to share projects with clients. It can be a pain to jump from one service to another to search for files and folders, so having a single directory that lets you sift through all your accounts in one place would definitely be a big help.
With the recently announced expansion of FileShadow, it will support the archiving of Adobe Creative Cloud files to the IBM Cloud through the IBM Cloud Object Services. The company executives promise to deliver “11 Nines” of durability to, ensure that your Creative Cloud files will be “available for a lifetime.” On top of this, FileShadow’s file assurance service for Drobo devices is also fully integrated with the Adobe Creative Cloud storage.
Still not sure about how it works? According to their press release, FileShadow is not a replacement for Drobo or other cloud storage vendors. “Instead, it assures immediate searchability, availability and protection of the files within all of these sources by archiving each generation of every file. The service creates extensive searchable metadata on each file, its content and location (GPS) as well as Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and vision tags for scanned images.”
How does it work with Adobe Creative Cloud, you ask? Platform Partnerships Manager at Adobe Drew Endick explains that FileShadow uses the Creative Cloud platform APIs to allow users to access their assets and notification about these assets straight from the FileShadow interface.
If you’re interested in giving it a try, FileShadow Service is available free of charge until September 30, 2018. Visit the FileShadow website now to learn more and sign up.
