If you are a portrait photographer chances are you have had to break open photoshop at least a time or two to do a little reshaping here or there (whether it was really needed or not). Doing a good job reshaping a subject’s body can be time consuming, and the folks over at PortraitPro are looking to make the process much easier and more user friendly.
Their latest release, PortraitPro Body, aims to make body reshaping a simple task that can be done in moments with just a few tweaks in the software. Truth be told, it is not a simple task, no matter what software you use, but by the looks of it, the PortraitPro Body system is fairly straightforward and easy to figure out. Of course, any tool like this can be abused (umm, hello Liquify, I am looking at you), but when used correctly and for the right reasons, I see no reason why this could not be a valuable tool for those who often find themselves needing to smooth out skin rolls or tame some curves.
The new suite will come in a standard and pro version, with the main difference between the two being that the professional version comes with Photoshop and Lightroom integration so you can bring PortraitPro Body into your workflow seamlessly.
If you are interested in learning more about PortraitPro Body you can find all of the information about it over on their website, here.
