We admit, we love GoPro videos here at The Phoblographer. We talk about them so much here on our site that you’d think we’re getting paid for sharing them (we’re not, if you’re wondering).
At the risk of an overkill, we would like to share with you another one today. And we know you’re probably tired of all the first-person POV videos of people doing extreme stuff to dubstep soundtracks; but this one is something different because it’s actually got a cool concept.
A small team of Los Angeles-based videographers and cinematographers led by Sam Gorski and Niko Pueringer called Corridor Digital got really creative with a GoPro Hero 3 by mounting it on a DJ Phantom II and making an awesome Superman video with it.
Thanks to the team’s snazzy video editing prowess, the Man of Steel has left the streets of Hollywood and taken to the skies of LA to stand for truth, justice, and the American way, beating up bad guys, rescuing damsels-in-distress, and ummm… returning some guy’s GoPro camera faster, well kinda, than a speeding bullet. And he’s used that same camera to prove it!
This video is a definite must-watch. Sure, it’s still got that dubstep soundtrack, but you gotta admit, it’s something different. Watch it after the jump.
(If you’re curious about how exactly they made it, watch the behind the scenes here.)
