The Empire State Building

New York City is perhaps the most photogenic city in the world, no matter what others may think. Many people come to New York for vacation time and love to go sight-seeing. Field Review (Day 5)- Leica D-Lux 4

by Chris Gampat on February 9, 2010

As the Leica D-Lux 4 field review continues, I explored the High ISO settings last night. This little camera delivered some results that pleased me and that also made me gawk at the images on screen. Times Square in the rain

My buddy Geoff Fox grew up knowing Times Square for what it was back in the old days, “scuzzy strip of sleaze.” He’s a weatherman and fellow photographer, and over at his blog he reminisces about what Times Square was and how it has changed for what he thinks was for the worse. The posting is complete with photographs of the new Times Square.

In my honest opinion. I’ve always hated the place. You get bored of it pretty quickly when you’re a very young New Yorker. More photos of the Square after the jump. Be sure to check out Geoff’s blog posting as well.

Yesterday I met up with Mark, a jazz/classical musician to do a photoshoot for his new album that will be coming out. Details of the shoot after the jump.
