The Complete EasyTag Review
The EasyTag Review is at an end. Before shooting with EasyTag from EasyTagger Canada, I couldn’t totally remember where all of my shots exactly came from. When looking at my EasyTag Review Collection on Flickr, with the maps and images geotagged, knowing I had a respectable pictorial expedition, this geek is content.
Field Review: EasyTag (Day 1)
I’m a traveling geek, moving through places, space and time, some locations weird and unique, other locations normal but still great locations to take the camera out an take some shots. When I produce images of these places I’ve always wanted GPS (Global Positioning System) coordinates to share the locations with others, and to have a record of exactly where these places were. The EasyTag is a decent and reasonably priced device that uses the space-based global navigation satellite system that provides reliable location and time information in all weather and at all times and anywhere on or near the Earth when and where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. It is maintained by the United States government and is freely accessible by anyone with a GPS receiver like the EasyTag
Leica V-LUX 20 Review Based on The Panasonic ZS-7
With the release of Leica’s new V-LUX 20 camera, it has quickly been deduced that it is really just a Panasonic ZS-7. Leica and Panasonic have a close relationship like this, as they have done previously with the LX-3 and the D-LUX 4 (the latter was reviewed here). The V-LUX 20, like the ZS-7 is aimed towards photography enthusiasts that tend to travel often and want to have a compact camera. Though I haven’t had time with the V-LUX 20 yet, one can expect that when reviews come out, they will be very similar to that of the ZS-7. That said, here’s a round-up of my ZS-7 field review postings and findings.
Field Review: Panasonic ZS-7 Final Day
I’ve spent some time shooting the Panasonic ZS-7 and will end the field review early for good reasons. First and foremost being that it is not a professional camera or even one of the super-high grade point and shoots. Second, it’s target audience will probably not care for some of the things mentioned previously such as noisy image quality. More on this all after the jump.
Field Review: Panasonic ZS-7 (Night 1)
The Panasonic ZS-7 and I took a stroll along midtown Manhattan yesterday to test out a couple of the features with the camera. It’s an interesting camera and has a couple of bells and whistles that would really stand out to people that love to travel often. As New York City is such a hot tourist spot, why not try it out there? More findings after the jump.
