Introduction to Studio Lighting: The Downloadable PDF Guide
Recently, my very good buddy Joey Quintero gave an amazing presentation on studio lighting at the B&H Event Space. Many people have been asking for the PDF of the presentation so that they can follow along for themselves.
I present to you, said PDF via Rapidshare.
Also be sure to check out Joey’s website to see some of his instruction in practice.
The Robot Book is an Inspiration To Other Creative Photographers
The Robot Book from Thomas Jackson on Vimeo.
A friend showed me this video recently. Over two years ago she discovered a special photographer named Thomas Jackson, who made his very own robot with materials he bought at Home Depot. Over several months, he created a wonderful body of work where he photographed his robot doing various activities in upstate New York. Apparently, even the B&H Event Space featured him a while back.
After not hearing from him for a while, she just received an email from him about his new photography book. Which is really, really cool and totally otherworldly.
Now if only I can shoot a robot themed wedding and deliver a book like this to the couple.
