In addition to the attention-grabbing Sigma 14mm f1.8 Art and Sigma 135mm F1.8 Art prime lenses, Sigma has also announced two new zoom lenses today at CP+; their new 24-70mm F2.8, and the 100-400mm F5-5.3. Both of which will be very enticing to their respective niches.
Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 Art
As well as Sigma has been doing with their Art prime lenses of late, a noticeable absence by the third-party lens manufacturer has been in pro-level zoom lenses. But that more or less ends with today’s announcement of the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 Art.

100-400mm F5-6.3 Contemporary
For wildlife and daytime action sports photographers, the announcement of the Sigma 100-400mm F/5-6.3 will no doubt be an enticing bit of news. A lens with plenty of reach and a sufficiently fast aperture for daytime shooting makes for some good times out at the local HS football field or nearest wildlife refuge.
