The idea behind a new app called Morpholio Journal is on that harkens back to something that is very important to analog photographers. Years ago, photographers used to shoot images and take notes in their own little notebooks. There would be ideas jotted down about the exposure settings, what was going through their mind, etc. But as the digital world came about, we stopped doing it that much.
Journal wants to bring it back; it’s an app that allows a photographer to put photos into a notebook type of interface as they work on personal projects. Considering the way that digital photographers work, it seems to be something best suited for photographers who actually work on projects and catalog them.
Users can upload images, place them into pages, write notes, etc. It includes many different digital pens for you to create different types of notes and ideas.
Morpholio Journal is free in the Apple iTunes store. A demo video and more photos are after the jump.
