Broncolor Releases New Scoro E (and S) Powerpacks

by Chris Gampat on 05/25/2012

There is a very small chance that any of us can afford anything from Broncolor. But they’ve just released their new Scoro E series of powerpacks accompanied by a snazzy video with a photographer that looks like Christian Bale.

First off, the older Broncolor Scoro A2s is now the 1600 S while the Scoro A4s is now the 3200 S.

Under the beautiful black exterior (made of a carbon shell) is an amazing array of power and features. The company touts a simple navigation menu, color consistency, and more than enough for fashion and high end photography. Beyond all this, the company states that these powerpacks enable:

- 50 flashes per second with the shortest recycle time being 0.02 seconds

- Consistent color temperature over the entire range of power at 5500k

- 11 stops of flash output

- Control for all functions via a wireless interface from your PC or Mac

- The Scoro E only has 8 f stops
