It's Thanksgiving: Put the Camera Down (Sometimes)

Are you a photographer and a foodie? Do you want to take pictures this Thanksgiving?

Don’t

You run the risk of ruining your family’s holiday by trying to get the perfect shot. PUT THE CAMERA DOWN. Use your camera only and for family pictures, that is it. Nothing else, show some restraint. I know it is difficult but Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends, not work. There is an alternative.

Field Review: Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8 EX APO DS HSM OS (Day 4)

What do you do on a Saturday night? Do you ever go out to shoot just for leisure? The chances that you do this during vacation are very great. If you are considering renting or buying the Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8 EX OS for Canon, a couple of tests doing touristy-things were conducted using this lens and the Canon 5D Mk II + 7D. Field Review: Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8 EX APO DS HSM OS (Day 3)

The Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8 EX OS for Canon mount has so far proven to be fairly impressive. We performed a very quick and dirty sharpness test on Day 2 and today we’re doing some pixel peeping. What we found in our non-scientific test may amaze you.
