Leica

After trying the D-LUX 5 at Photo Plus Expo 2010, I had the opportunity to shoot with two very legendary lenses in the Leica lineup. The 50mm F/0.95 Noctilux is the fastest lens available in the lineup and the 90mm F/2 has been touted as one of the sharpest lenses the manufacturer makes. The Olympus E-5 is the company’s latest DSLR and an update to their much-loved E-3. Besides some ergonomic changes and a few more updates, the E-5 performs and feels much like the company’s sword swinging Spartan in an attempt to take out it’s competitors.

Winning one of the longest name awards, the Zeiss 85mm Cine lens for Canon EF mount is a gorgeous and heavy hunk of glass designed for cinematographers. I got some time to try it out on the Canon 7D today and a video sample will be coming soon. However, my experience with the lens was much different than it has been with DSLR lenses.

The Canon S95review continues by analyzing the results of medium to high ISO images. The results will perhaps surprise you. If you remember correctly, images were a bit problematic at low ISO settings.
