Hi Chris,
My DSlr is NIKON D80,(which I like a lot)
I got a Canon G11 as a SLR alternative for trips with family&friends. The G11,while better than any other P&S I hv ever used, just doesn’t satisfy my lookout for a replacement.,esp. The skin tones, color, DOF, are not satisfactory. Now this Oly E PL1 has some great reviews, while u hv not given any flying colors to this Oly.
I can live with the slow focusing of E PL1, I just want very good color, DOF, etc better than G11, will E PL1 fit into this.
Can u kindly help.

  Sigma DP2s or the EPL2. For ultimate portability, I’d say the former.
  
  You’ll want to beat someone with your EPL1 after some time because of the frustrations you’ll have in the long run.
